Old Orchard Woods is a prestigious residential complex in the northern suburbs of Chicago. A complex of three 20-story towers with views of the Chicago skyline in addition to the large parking garage and pool complex make up this magnificent site.

Designed, built and marketed by the well regarded Chicago development firm headed by Award Winning Architect , David Hovey. Working directly with Optima was a unique experience, allowing us to work closely with all parties in the design complete format.

HVG utilized an all glass Window Wall design with floor-mounted receivers and integral slab covers. The system incorporated in swinging hopper vents for fresh air as well as swinging terrace doors to access the balconies. HVG installed a custom designed glass and aluminum railing at the balconies as well.

In the common spaces, HVG installed a four-sided structurally glazed high span unitize curtainwall in addition to structural glass railings at common balconies and stairs.
