Huron Valley Glass has been selected as the Design Assist Façade Contractor by Gilbane Building Company and University Hospital Systems for the new Case Medical Center Cancer Hospital.

Located in the University Circle area of Cleveland, this world class cancer treatment center was designed by Saint Louis based, Cannon Design. With its dramatic undulating East face, curved sloped West face and its distinctive “dancing” North wall, this building will definitely not be confused for any other building on the large campus.

Huron Valley Glass will design and install 100,000sf of HVU Unitized curtainwall / skylight and nearly 50,000sf of composite metal panel Rain Screen system.

Due to the unique architecture, many design challenges presented themselves, but the adaptability of the HVU system and the depth of the design and management within our division allowed us to present a technically sound and architecturally pleasing solution.

This project represents the third major project for HVG in Cleveland and will be produced in our nearby Massillon, Ohio plant.
